| | Gung Hay Fat Choy! Wishing everyone happiness, good health and prosperity for the year of the rat! Our department CNY potluck was a huge success and everyone ate to their heart's content. We had Chinese New Year Eve dinner with my parents. My mom "goes out" every year and cooks a ton of dishes. My contribution this year was making the curry chicken. T went to his parents' house and spent the actual CNY there while the kids and I stayed in the East Bay.
Last weekend was our COF CNY/Valentine's get together. We all met at Serramonte prior to lunch to take a photo of the kids dressed in their Chinese outfits. (Etoiledelune posted a group photo) Afterwards, we went to Moonstar in Daly City for lunch. It was great to catch up with everyone!
Valentine's Day, T got me a card and lavender roses. We went to Il Fornacio for lunch in downtown Walnut Creek. Night time, my dad, the kiddies, me and T went to Fuddruckers. (my mom forgot it was Valentine's Day and went to play mj. She left my dad hanging!)
Work has been hectic!!! 4 recalls in the last 2 days. I a so looking forward to the 3 day weekend!!!!!!!!!
